Shark Fin Ban, Are Kailua Kona Surfers Listening?

by Fergy Ferguson

The Hawaii Shark Fin Law goes into effect on Friday.  Are the surfers in Kailua Kona’s Lyman Beach Park listening?  After the 2 attacks there last month, you would think that someone wants those two particular tiger sharks fins boiling away in someone’s pot.  Read the full story about the ban by Tim Sakahara of HawaiiNewsNow

They had better get cracking, because even if they catch the beasts, there will be no soup made out of them after Friday.  Don’t get me wrong here, I totally agree with the ban, it’s just that after you get this kind of shark activity, the only thing you want is to get rid of those two sharks as quickly as possible….. Hmm, I wonder how they will identify the two culprits?
